Grief

Life is hard and losing somebody or something can make it harder. Have you lost somebody that thinking about them takes your breathe away? What about an item you loved so much that you thought you would never be ever to live without.

Grief is not something that goes away. Grief is something we deal with and learn to cope with. People make ask Are you ok? What do you say? Do you say you are not ok? Do you say you miss the person or thing everyday, but are managing.

One thing to think about was it all of a sudden or did it happen and was expected? All of a sudden makes things harder to comprehend and understand. When a death is expected we have time to start coping beforehand and can manage the pain to make it bearable.

Grief support groups exist and they can be scary. The groups are there to help with you not being ok. They are hard, but hard is good.
